Our Story
Our Vision
‘Live simply so that others may simply live’ – Mahatma Ghandi
We can choose to live in a way that puts us back in touch with what really matters.
We can help create a world where human dignity is respected and people in developing countries have the chance to live their lives to the full.
As children of God we want to show our love for our Creator and working towards establishing God’s Kingdom here on earth.
Climate change is no longer a prediction, it is a phenomenon that is occurring now, we can already see the effects.
The Parish of Eastham is committed to standing up against climate change and to making a positive impact on the world that God has created.
What we are doing...
Reducing waste
Supporting Fair Trade, organic and local produce.
Encouraging sustainable travel
Incorporating environmental themes into our worship and prayer life
Increasing biodiversity
And exploring the outdoors!

But this is by no means the end of the story, there is so much more that we can do and with your help and support we will.
If you are able to help in any way or would like to know more please contact Helena Mayles. Or join us for one of our open forum meetings to talk about environmental initiatives and what we can do as individuals and as a church.
