* Traidcraft goods are sold after every service
* Fairtrade tea and coffee is used in all kitchens
* An organic and locally sourced food market is
being trialed at St. Marys Church
We are committed to household recycling and have boxes to recycle batteries, water filters and ink cartridges in all 3 churches
Glass mugs have been provided to reduce the use of plastic cups
* Bike Racks are to be installed at the Church Centre and
St. Peters Chapel
* The possibility of Car shares to get to church is being
explored
Environmental Worship
* Praying for the environment is a key part of our
worship during every service
* We have run environmental Bible Studies
* There are particular environmentally themed
servicesthroughout the year
* The Yew Tree Trail explores the history of St. Mary’s
Churchyard
* An allotment is being developed at the Church Centre and
we are looking at the possibility of developing St. Peters
garden
* Bird feeders have been placed in St. Mary’s Churchyard
* We are currently working on putting up nesting boxes in
the Churchyard
